Over the period of summer and early autumn 2019 we have made a number of loading surveys and sampling surveys for our clients. The latter has prompted us, also by encouragement from our client, to begin the process of being accredited to the ISO 17020-2012 standard as well as the ISO 18135-2017 standard.
This work is progressing well and all our employees have this month participated in a company seminar to learn about the standard and how to use the standards in every day survey situations.
On behalf of an Insurance Underwriter we have surveyed damages to ships in the 2 nd quarter of 2019, amongst others:
- Engine damages
- Crane Inspection for verification
- Propeller shaft and stern tube bearing damage
